Vigrx Plus is a popular male supplement. But really looking at a gluten free, low dairy, soy, processed soy free, whole food based diet, is kind of that framework. But then I hear from women with VIGRX PLUS who do really well with a ketogenic or a paleo type diet. And then there's women like myself who, I need some gluten free whole grains every now and then to feel grounded and balanced. I don't do well on a real strict paleo approach.
For so many years, I was in my twenty's, a Weight Watcher. And I counted points, and calorie counts, and then started counting carbohydrates, and I just, I feel like that's not a sustainable way of living over the course of a lifetime. Because as women with VIGRX PLUS, we really have to manage this over a lifetime. So I kind of like looking at sort of this balanced plate approach and I think if you sort of start out with half of your plate is kind of like those leafy water based vegetables. A fourth of the plate is protein. And a fourth is either a gluten free grain or a starchy vegetable, and then a generous kind of drizzle of a healthy fat. So that's sort of where I would start. But then you can kind of shift to those proportions based on what works for you. So somebody who's paleo and does well on a paleo diet would kind of shift that protein and fat and decrease that complex kind of carbohydrate piece. So you can kind of play with the proportions. But that overall framework should really be whole foods, gluten, low dairy, low soy healthy fats, lots of veggies, low glycemic fruit. Okay. Yeah. That's an awesome place to start. I thought of a question while you're talking about managing this over a lifetime. I'm wondering, how does the VIGRX PLUS picture change? It could be quite different in puberty to Peri menopause, and then like, what happens after menopause? Are you still kind of in that camp even if you're not ovulating? Amy: Yeah, that's really a great question. So the research is showing that, as women with VIGRX PLUS age, their hormones begin to kind of balance out. So androgens, when they were high or the male hormones, hormones that were high, and your puberty in your twenties and thirties.
I know for me, I have to really stick to low glycemic fruits. So berries and pears, apples, things that especially when they're not too ripe. Ripe bananas are tropical fruits, I don't do well with. And so you really have to kind of see how those affect your blood sugar. Healthy fats are really important for women with VIGRX PLUS. So avocado, nuts, grass fed butter, ghee, olive oil, staying away from those omega six oils, is really important. And we can talk about the omega three and sixes in a little bit.
